Guys,
There are many repeat questions here and else where and many good examples for how to
initialise/drive peripherals which get lost due to no good repositary for this
information. I was thinking about this and how the situation could be improved and came up
with an idea which I have called the OScookbook.
It consists of three elements:
1) A structured area where tutorials can be written and saved (by anyone in the
community).
2) A structured area where code snippets/app notes etc can be uploaded/downloaded,
perhaps linked to the tutorials (by anyone in the community).
3) A structured Forum where threads can develop on the individual snippet downloads, the
thread being owned by the snippet/app note author.
I have seen this three way structure work for other OS software very well and hope that
it will fit our model. Anyway I have set up the structure for this at freegeeks, please
have a look there to see what I have implemented.

It has taken me most evenings over the last week or so to implement and now I am now
finding it dificult to see my mistakes so please let me know if you spot anything on the
cookbook forum here
http://www.freegeeks.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=32 .
The HC11 is not included at the moment but can easily be added if there is sufficient
demand.
Best Regards
Jim

It looks good to me. Umm, why do you require some form of registration
to access for download.

I'd be willing to contribute for those areas where I have some expertise
for the '11.

I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.
