4XOUT termination - daniel62bull - Dec 4 21:16:49 2006

How should an unused 4XOUT pin on a 68HC11F1 be terminated?

What might happen if 4XOUT is not terminated properly?

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

You don't HAVE to terminate this output; however, if you want to, just
to be safe, you can terminate it to ground through a 10k-100K ohm
resistor. Remember to clear the CLK4X bit in the OPT2 register.

Lance.
