Hi All,
I am using Nohau Emulator with a POD having 68HC11E9 controller in Expanded mode. It was
working fine a couple of months back with my target board, but now a days it is giving a
problem. If I do the external memory mapping in Emulator settings: like 0x0-0x0FFF,
0x1000-0x1FFF, 0x2000-0x2FFF, I find a fixed data pattern on these externally mapped
locations as 0x00 to 0xFF and again from 0x00 to 0xFF and again and again for all the
external mapped memory. If I try to write some data forcefully in these locations, it
doesnt allow me to do so. This happens even if the target is not connected. This is RAM
area of my board. As Emulator software (Seehau) is not allowing to change contents of
externally mapped area, my running program on emulator can not change data in this area,
and some of the desired functions are not working.
I also tried with another POD having 68HC11E1 controller and another HSP box but observed
the same problem. I also uninstalled the software and reinstalled but observed the same
problem. I also tried using another PC thinking that if it is a port or PC problem, but no
use....on other PC also I observed the same problem. I dont understand why this is
happening. Local support person also looked the problem, but he is also still trying to
solve the problem and he also couldnt understand yet why this is happening.
Please let me know if anybody has already used Nohau Emulator and observed the same
problem. Also please tell what you did to solve the problem.
