Keil ULINK - Herbert Demmel - Dec 17 5:57:00 2005
Hi,
I just bought ULink from Keil - when I connect the USB port it wants to
have a file called keil_jtag.sys which is not on the accompaning CD, when
checking the forums at Keil nobody speaks about this file but about
keilul.sys and others.
It seems that I have a brand-new version of ULink requiring different
drivers which are not contained on the CD - definitely not a good start :-(
(and shame to Keil)
Any ideas??? Or does somebody have this drivers? It's now weekend, I really
would like to start now and not to wait until Monday to complain at Keil ....
Regards
Herbert

Re: Keil ULINK - Jim Earle - Dec 18 12:06:00 2005
I have the Keil V3.20C running on my PC and only have the keilul.sys. I am able to use
ULINK to debug and download code without any problem, so I'm not sure why it's looking for
keil_jtag.sys. One suggestion would be to download the uVision LPC2000 ARM code from Keil.
I have not had any problem bringing up the debugger when I load uVision.
Regards,
Jim

Thank you for your reply, Jim.
The ULINK definitely insists in having this file right after plugging it in
to the USB port, so will call the people at Kile tomorrow, Monday, and ask
them what's up with their sh... device.
Best regards
Herbert
