ULINK doesn't work - beiyong2003 - Mar 21 23:52:00 2006

I used the ULINK JTAG debugger to debug Keil MCB2130 board for some
days. They worked well. But when I touched two I/O pins to 5.5V
carelessly, these two I/O pins damaged. The LPC2138 also can work by
downloading firmware from ISP. But from that time, the ULINK can't be
detected by Keil uVision software. I want to know if it is possible for
ULINK to be damaged, or ULINK JTAG can not be detected just because the
CPU device has bad I/O? Please give me some ideas, I really appreciate
it.

Hello qq qq
You can enable/disable the JTAG test pins via the PINSEL2 register. If
your software overwrites the content of this register, it can happen,
that the JTAG port is accidentially disabled. Look at the LPC2138's
user's manual for the correct pin settings.
