wiggler problem... - donatello_2k - Dec 7 2:30:54 2006

Hi,
i built my own SAM7S256 board as well as wiggler. The wiggler is a
standard one available on net, with 100 ohm res in series between port
and HC244 as well as HC244 and SAM. However i am missings caps on the
wiggler. The cable length is abt 1 feet and the JTAG tracks on board
are not longer than 2". The board also has pullups on all lines. The
problem is I can connect but i get device id 3F0F0F0F. Obviously, the
debugging also does not work. I tried even at 8 speed but PVR command
shows the same thing. Even crossworks, H-JTag have the same problem.
Plz help.

Abhijit.

12" seems rather long for the cable, try 6". My interface in the Files
section works at full speed. Although I haven't tried it with a SAM it works
with the earlier Atmel ARM chip.

You can repeat the same with 6" cable too...
