Using SCSI ICs with ARM7/9 processors - jdauchot - Sep 20 14:53:38 2007

Hi

Has anyone used SCSI ICs with ARM7/9 processors. I have a project that
requires high speed data transfers to SCSI tape drives.

At present the hardware to be replace are 68000 CPU and qlogic ics and
PowerPC and LSI PCI SCSI ics.

Can ARM7 interface to PCI bus?

Another question is there SPI SCSI chips on the market?

Regards

Jean-Jacques

None that I know off. XScale supports PCI AFAIK.

Why not stick with a PowerPC ?
