Hi,

as we have seen, we are running out of space in the files section.
There are several option how to resolve this, mt proposal would be to
start replacing documents readily available on the WWW with links
instead of the file being posted here:
Examples:

ANxxxx are Application Notes from Philips saving 80k

ARM PrimeCell Vectored Interrupt Controller (PL190) can be dowloaded
from ARM here: http://www.arm.com/pdfs/DDI0273A_VIC_PL192.pdf
saving 570k

The DDS folder has 2 MB of high resolution PDF which I just tried to
reprint with minimized size option for Adobe and it shrunk by approx.
80% to less than 400kb PDF

The LCD driver example has a couple HUGE jpg file in it which can be
easily shrunk by more than 80%.

if you want me to, I could shrink pretty much all the large files or
provide links instead of actual files, however, only the author or you
can replace the files.

This should remain a very open forum and if the file section is hosted
by Philips it is somewhat biased by definition, if by somebody else
(like me) it is biased as well ;-)

Let me know what you think about going through a "shrink the file size
session".

It would be a good idea, before things start getting critical. I did think
of migrating stuff to, say, one of my websites, but its a good idea to
reduce the size of the files. If you don't mind helping with the work I
could make you a moderator. It would be a good idea to have more then one
anyway, in case something happens to me.
