Motorola would get some of my business back if they did...but they have
to hurry up before I convert all of my HC11 libraries to AVR code and
of course they woul have to be competitive and innovative like producing
20 pins HC11 etc....the last Motorola seminar I attended was pretty much
a waste of time for Australian conditions in my opinion.

You know, John, since the spinoff of Moto semi as a separate business, they
might be more receptive to feedback from the field. I left a suggestion on the
website, and the next day, an engineer from Austin was on the phone with me at
work... I told him if they put out an HC11F1 with the 5 MHz bus and a 20MHz
xtal with 48K of flash and 16K of ram, they'd have an AVR killer. He said he'd
walk across the hall and tell the designers. So who knows? You guys ought to
send some ideas to Austin..... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
