Hi All
=20=20=20
When i programmed the MC68HC711E9CFN2 Chip with a Version A of Software (=
.S19) it programmed sucessfully. I made some modifications in the Version A=
Software and made it to Version B and created S19 for version B software. =
When i tried reprogramming Version B S19 to the same chip MC68HC711E9CFN2 w=
hich contains the version A software, I AM NOT ABLE TO REPROGRAM THE CHIP, =
The error coming while reprogramming is VERIFICATION ERROR . I am using EVB=
Plus2 Baord for reporgramming the Chip.The Error is displayed below:

Checking test.s19 for any errors=20
No error, file checksum =3D $BB92=20
=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20
Programming on-chip EPROM (EVBplus2 board)=20
Programming (with verifying) at addresses: $dff0-$dfff=20
verification failed at address $e000:=20
Data in the file is 1, but received from chip is 0.

1. Wwhat might be the problem for the Above error....?
2. Should i ERASE the Version A software which is residing in the EPROM o=
f MC68HC711E9CFN2 chip using UV rays. i.e using UV rays ERASER?

You MUST erase the EPROM. This is done with an UV eraser if the chip
has a window. It cannot be done if the chip is in a closed plastic
case, OTP (One-Time-Programmable).

which makes them OTPs. Surely you >are not trying to REPROGRAM an OTP
device???
