Hi, In summer 2013 I found a web page full of what I remember as being dozens of MSP430 assembly source code files, probably all open source. I believe it was on a TI page. I downloaded and used the 16x16-> 32 bit multiply and 32/16 bit divide routines, and I thought I had carefully bookmarked this very special page. Now I can't find the bookmark, or the page in hours of searching. Anybo

Hi, I want to use the SD24 (24 bit ADC in the MSP430AFE2x3) to sample a resistive strain gauge bridge (load cell) with 350ohms directly. This is no rocket science in case the bridge supply is at a DC reference voltage. But I want to save power! The bridge supply is power hungry (2.5V at 350 ohms). My idea is to pulse the bridge supply e.g. 10 times per second (the load is stable) and ...

Does anyone know of a simple way of randomising some data in assembler. I want to send a RF signal between noon and 1300 hours. There are quite a few transmitters and I do not want them to all send off at once. Each has a unique ID numbered from 1-65000. TIA Peter Peter Grey

Reg, I have just joined the msp430 group and am having trouble finding correct info on programming one of the chips in the set. 24F169 64 pin device and have not had much luck programming the BLINKER demo (partially because the pin outs in the example are for the wrong port). Do you know of a good reference book on using the CCS compiler under Windows XP or a suitable replacement such as IAR...

Has anyone got this working reasonably on any Linux? I'm using CentOS. I got it to create a project, build, load and run the OutofBox demo for the F5529 LaunchPad, but that is all. I'm not even sure I could reproduce that :-( I had loaded a blinky demo using Energia, so it really did load and build the OutofBox demo. The first time I pressed button 2 to get the rocket, it kernel panicked my...

Launchpad clock jitter: What should I expect?

I'm seeing more jitter than I would like in the length of a pulse (e.g. 120= us) generated by timer A in PWM mode=A0 using ACLK from the 32 KHz xtal on= a G2553 Launchpad.=A0 An eyeball estimate is a standard deviation of 15 ns= . I've pulled the header pins that connect to the xtal and removed the zer= o ohm jumpers. That improved things a lot, but I'd like better if possible= . Is there...

I have a target board with a MSP430FR5729. I am using IAR EW6.5 and a MSP430-FETUIF. I have a MSP-TS430PW28 connected to the FET module and 4 wires going to my target board (Vcc, ground, Test, RST). I have used this sort of setup many times. My target board has a 12V input and it generates 11volts to be used on board to generate 3.3V and a few other DC voltages. When I connect the cable from ...
