IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee - Claro Louie - Jun 27 1:21:06 2008
Hi guys,
May i ask if anyone knows the data payload of Zigbee protocol? Im wondering=
if zigbee can support my application.
I have a project that=A0requires the communication of the master device and=
the end device. The master device tracks the ends device. This is done by =
the end device giving its position (longitude/latitude) to the master devic=
e. This application includes a GPS. So i'm wondering if the zigbee can supp=
ort this kind of application. Range is an important parameter to consider.
thanks so much....
Claro

Claro,
You can try to use the ez430-2480 demo kit.
The kit incorporates an msp430f2274 and a CC2480A1 zigbee processor.
The processor incorporates the stack and all, so you don't have to=20
worry about knowing network stuff. I'm currently playing with it on=20
my spare time. I think it has more potential than the rf2500.
Best of luck,
Alonso
