Upgrade path from CCE v1.0 to CCE v3.0 - owaiscareer - Jun 27 12:18:04 2008

Hey guys,
I need your help resolving this issue.
I bought CCE v1.0 PRO a couple years ago and subsequently was able to
upgrade to V2.x over the internet. Recently I got another msp430
project and found that V3 was the current version. I was unable to
successfully install this version and through TI websupport was asked
to uninstall my MSp430 V2.x version, do a registry clean and then
reinstall V3.0 PRO.
This did not work. I then installed V1.0 PRO back and found that the
V2.x updates are no longer on the web. I emailed Ti support again and
they asked me to call a local rep here in the DC area. I called and
he tells me that he doesn't think there is an upgrade path from
V1.0PRO to V3.0PRO and that I'll have to purchase the full version again.

Now I am stuck with CCE V1.0PRO. Has anyone had such an issue and how
did they go about resolving it? Can anyone confirm what the actual
limits are on upgrades?

I would appreciate any help on this issue.

Thanks
Owais
