using nmi on msp430f2013 - Jonathan Dumaresq - Aug 29 10:22:17 2008

Hi all,

I would like to know if I can use the NMI pin at the same time having the
EZ-430 programmer attached to it ?

I have put an open collector transistor on the NMI signal but I'm not sureI
can let the programmer there.

The nRST/NMI pin is also used as SBWDIO by the SBW-JTAG
programmer/debugger. It cannot be "used" at the same time for both
functions. It may be possible to be "connected" at the same time. But
even that is tricky and may cause problems for the FET-debugger.
SBWDIO is bi-directional and fast (sub-micro-seconds).
