Does anyone have an early MSP-FET430UIF for sale or one I can get firmware from? - Ralph - Jun 4 7:35:14 2009

All

You may have seen my previous post where I mentioned I had a 'dead' MSP-FET430UIF and TI have just sent me another that only works with Kickstart 3.4 and above.

Does anyone have a early MSP-FET430UIF (released around 2004 and which works properly (and has been tested) with Kickstart 3.21) that I can either purchase or copy the firmware from (this has to be both the MSP and TUSB firmware within)?

I will pay all associated charges.

Rgds
Ralph

Hi Ralph, I was the TI MSP430 Apps engineer for the Northeast US and Canada until about 3 years ago... I still have a copy of the MSP430 UIF firmware. Send me an email, and I'll send it to you. Sorry, don't have the TUSB code.

I'm not sure how far back version 3.21 was... I'm guessing it was late 2004 or early 2005. I still have copies of all the compilers (I'm a packrat!), but would have to install them to see the version numbers).

I may have a UIF that goes back that far, but not sure if there's a way to easily tell what software is in there. Shoot me an email and we'll work something out.

Hi Ralph
Your welcome. I received this file from my friend. I have a little question.
How to convert .txt to .hex ?

Best Regards
somboon
