Question about RTC prescaler - cro83 - Oct 8 9:45:16 2009

After reading as much as I can find on the MSP430F5437's Real Time Clock, I am confused about the prescaler.

I read page 396 of the user's guide and it describes it in somewhat dry terms.

Can anyone please tell me if my understanding of the following is true?

Prescale Timer 0 Register (RT0PS) counts to 256, then adds 1 to Prescale Timer 1 Register (RT1PS) which then counts to 128 and adds 1 to Real-Time Clock Seconds Register (RTCSEC). So, if RTPS upper byte is 0C and lower byte is 1D, the fractions of a second would be .094635009?

If I am incorrect, where can I find info on this problem?
