Re ading MSP430f169 and Programming back - RAO226 - Oct 11 11:38:33 2009

Hi,

I tried to read the code of one of my working MSP430f169 processor from a
working machine and successfully retrieved/downloaded it in the form of a
text file.

Now when i tried to program another processor with similar application (by
uploading the above code), it didn't worked. I simply tried to program my
another MSP430f169 chip with this text file, it worked for a while (even
though the related display screen was not clear, but still easily readable
with lots of lines in between), then all of a sudden my display screen went
blank. At first when i programmed this processor, it was producing one beep
sound with every start, the display was not 100% clear, but it was working
with the joysticks. Now whenever i turn on this processor, the same beep
sound comes when it starts, but after a second or two it just keep on
buzzing and then stops. And whenever i touch my joystick the beep sounds
buzz for a while and even the screen in blank now, no displays at all.

Am i wrong somewhere with uploading the code? Do i need to allocate register
or anything like that? I am totally confused as i am just a begineer with
MSP430. Please help me out, any help would be of great help.

Thank you!
