Hi ,
Im working on MSP430F169.So far I have established Rf
communication link using CC2500,I brought CC2500 Development Kits , I would
like to know that is it possible to paly FM radio using CC2500DK by
configuring it with the controller im using. Why im asking this Becaz?? they
gave headphone sockets on CC2500DK .... so Im little bit eager to know about
that.IT would be helpful if someone help me to proceed.
Thank you ,

Hint: think about the frequency range that FM radio operates in and that of the CC2500.
The headphones are for ham radio operation.

I don't know the circuit, but could they be used to stream audio thats been
digitized and converted back to analog on the far end? Can the CC2500 send
non-packetized data?

The CC2500 is designed to operate at 2.4 GHz which is one of the
industrial, scientific and medical radio bands. The 2.4 GHz band is
mainly used for microwave ovens, wireless LANs and cordless phones. You
could use the head phones if you used the CC2500 to build a cordless
phone. But a 2.4 GHz signal's range is not suitable for ham radio. In
most of the world the frequency range form 87.5 to 108 MHz is used for
FM broadcasting, Hence the CC2500 is not suitable for building an FM
receiver.
