12MHz Oscillators - Jim Carlson - Oct 30 16:05:23 2009
I have a MSP430 / TUSB3410 design that uses a thru hole crystal. I would
like to change the 12Mhz crystal [can style] to a surface mount part. Does
anyone have a suggested part they have used with the 3410?

I have used the NXP3225 series in a wide variety of applications. It's
available from Digikey part # 644-1047-1-ND. for the 15ppm part and is a
3.2 x 2.5mm form factor. Never used the 3410, but have used it on the
MSP and in RF circuits
