Linux Environment? - policke8872 - Feb 21 13:27:04 2008

Hey guys I'm new to the group... I bought an OOPic awhile back to get
into robotics, but i got sidetracked. Now i plan on getting back into
it but my laptop now has Linux (Ubuntu) on it. I was just wondering if
there is a programming environment for linux i can use or if i would
have to emulate one using WINE?

I believe WINE works - at least it did with Version 5 of the IDE. I
have Ubuntu on this laptop but I haven't installed WINE; primarily
because I can dual-boot into WinXP.

There is no Linux specific version of the IDE/compiler.

I was able to Virtual PC to run the IDE on my Mac so I'd bet that you can run it in WINE.
