Sorry, I mean IO Lines 16 and 17 instead of pins 16 and 17!

Hi,

Does anybody knows what pins 16 and 17 in ooPIC-S board do? They mention "R=
C0 - Timer 1 Xtal" for pin 16, but I have no idea what this means.

Is there any kind of problem if I connect an IR QRB1134 Sensor (for wheel e=
ncoder) to one of these pins? Can I damage my ooPIC or my sensor?

Thanks.

If you were trying to drive Timer 1 with an external frequency source
(xtal) this is where you make the connection. See oTimer.ExtClock

IOLine 17 is also one of the 2 hardware PWM ports (IOLine 18 is the
other). See oPWMH
