I want to ask everyone to find a firefighter and thank them for what
they do. Yes, we run in when everyone else runs out.
My very good friend, neighbor and fellow firefighter died last night
from injuries sustained during a recent fire. He was a hero in every
sense of the word. He was also a volunteer (unpaid firefighter). In
addition he was a fellow volunteer EMT. Most of all he was my friend.
Dean saved lives, he saved property and he never asked for anything in
return, except for maybe a cold glass of water!
AED we will miss you, we will miss your skiils and we will miss your
friendship! White helmets tell, yellow helmets do!
Ted DCFD#3, GCFD EMT
Sorry it is off topic guys but it is important to me to honor good old
AED.
