Learning to program a pic on FreeBSD - James Penick - Jun 3 15:53:21 2006

Howdy,
Anyone have any good suggestions on PIC C compilers
available for FreeBSD? I searched the archives and
didnt find anything. I've got the PicKit #1 programmer
and a 16f684 PIC.

Any suggestions, tips, tricks, or gotchas?

Thanks!
-James

You may have a problem. AKAICT, nobody ever finished writing a
compiler for *nix for the PIC. There are a couple of good, free,
Windows based compilers: cc5x and PIC C Lite.

If you find one, post back. I would like to give it a try.
