NEWBIE - sseyon - Dec 13 15:45:44 2007

Hello there i am just entering world of microcontrollers. I am here
because my hardware design needs to store a string of data which is in
CMOS levels and also time stamp the data so it can be retrieved later.
any information on how i could achieve this would be very helpful. If
any of you know any sources that will take me through step by step of
how to do hardware to software interfacing would be greatly appreciated.

So where can i start??

Thanks in advance..

Get a copy of Predko's book on the PicMicro. You can use a RTC (real
time clock for stamping) or look at C-Max (Digikey) to use WWVB
signal. For software look at Oshonsoft which has an inexpensive (29
Euro) simulator and Basic compiler. If you need more let me know.
