Get yourself a Junebug, by Blueroom Electronics. Super nice and fast
PICkit2 clone with bonus 18F1320 tutor onboard. Good programmer. I own
one and I'm very happy with it.
The Inchworm+ with Unicorn USB board is good too. It's an ICD2 clone.
Without the Unicorn it's an ICD2 clone with no USB - serial only. A
bit slower that way. USB is fast.

I'm about to sell on Ebay a brand new Microchip ICD2 - it came with a development board
and I don't need it.
Though I'm in Australia, so postage might wipe out any gains.

The PCB (1) for Predko's 'El Cheapo' programmer came in his _P&C_
book. I will contribute it for postage and 'points' fcfs.
