Get yourself a Junebug, by Blueroom Electronics. Super nice and fast
PICkit2 clone with bonus 18F1320 tutor onboard. Good programmer. I own
one and I'm very happy with it.

The Inchworm+ with Unicorn USB board is good too. It's an ICD2 clone.
Without the Unicorn it's an ICD2 clone with no USB - serial only. A
bit slower that way. USB is fast.

Re: anyone selling a programmer for a 16f877a? Posted by: "cdb" c...@btech-online.co.uk bodgy1uk Fri Jan 4, 2008 11:36 pm (PST) I'm about to sell on Ebay a brand new Microchip ICD2 - it came with a development board and I don't need it.

Though I'm in Australia, so postage might wipe out any gains.

Even if faith is lacking, and hope is non existent, you always have charity and compassion to offer.
