Graphics user interface for PICs | Piclist

A discussion group for the PICMicro microcontroller. Also called the Microchip PIC, this list is dedicated to the use and abuse of this fine, simple, microcontroller. Close to topic posts are welcome, ie. general electronics.

I have recently completed a menu based user interface for PICs and
I've made the code open source. It is based on a $20 color LCD
display. Documentation describing this project, along with the PIC
code can be found at:

I've also posted a short movie on YouTube demonstrating how the user
interface works. It is at:

I've been having quite a lot of fun with the Graphics PICtail. Its a lot
more capable, and the touch screen is great, but this is way cheaper.

I notice that Sparkfun has some really cheap displays, too. Looks like more
stuff to play with.
