motor control - andreaspinelli - May 1 18:14:27 2009
Hi,
Does anyone in this group have some experience on controlling brushed dc motors with
encoders and would like to share his knowledge or address me somewhere for that
purpose?
I've already got some PIC 18F2431 that include a built in quadrature encoder interface but
I think I need some help.
Regards.
Andreas

Andreas,
I've done a few DC motor control projects for CNC and autopilots with resolutions up to
2000CPR. The PID control loop is fairly easy to do. The harder part is engineering the
H-Bridge paying critical attention to board layout etc... What are you looking to do?
