Connecting RLT8019AS with PIC16F877 - How to start? - newbietalk - Aug 8 3:19:00 2003

hi,

I'm required to connect a RLT8019AS with a PIC16F877 for my
project, and I'm very new to this.

How do I start? Does the RLT8019AS needed to be programmed by
a programmer? Can I use EEPROM within the PIC16F877 to
initialize RLT8019AS? Is it easier to use jumper mode to
initialize RLT8019AS? Thanks guys,

ouch, that looks like a lot of work. why not just grab a device like a
SitePlayer or similar, and use it for network communications? They're
cheap and easy to work with, http:www.siteplayer.com. --- newbietalk <> wrote:

hi,

Thanks for the advice, but i must provide ethernet function
without using any device for my uni project.

I'm think of setting the RLT8019AS to the jumper mode, so in
that way i don't need a EEPROM (9346) for software
configuration. Is that true? thank you
