Replying off-list..
Do they say it shows in a bad way???? (You don't have to answer
that.)
I just thought I'd mention that your site was logical and easy to use...great
beginner help. Not to mention the time and effort you expend sharing your expertise
on this and other lists.
Great job!

Tastes
differ. Most techies admire the simplicity and content, some others call it amateurish because it lacks most
flashy things found on other websites. But I am a techie, and I make the site that I would
like to visit.
PS did
you notice that there are frames, yet you can still bookmark the individal
pages?

Wouter, I'm with you, all the "flashy bits" annoy me since they take forever to load over a modem connection and don't add a bit to explaining what everything is. I also don't like the CSS designs which force me to replace windows and make it difficult to keep several windows or tabs open for fast reference. Bravo for keeping it simple and easy to navigate. I like real links and frames with tables, you can keep the CSS and FLASH junk for the toy sites. IMO, DLC Wouter van Ooijen wrote: >> Do they say it shows in a bad way???? When I started looking for a programmer, I looked at teh Warp, nice, but too much $$$ the MPLab and Olimex version of same were also kinda high $, but your WISP628 hits the nail on the head for most of us homebrew guys. Excelent unit in that is meets the MPlab threshold. That puts it as the only programmer that is a possible homebrew, but also a low cost. But I have to assume you made it from the point of view of a programmer, not a web-site designer. you convey information without getting in the way. The fact that it looks good too is just gravy. Well done ! Dave |
