Hi, Anyone have a reference design or pcb layout (Eagle pref.) for an 100vdc MOSFET H-Bridge w/drivers? I have ir2110 and 300vMOSFETS, but am open for others. Cheers |

As far as I know there are no bridge controllers that can work up to 100V.
The HIP series can do 80V. Have a look at <www.irf.com>, they have some hi-side drivers that could do the tricky part of the job. It is also quite simple to do it all with discrete components but it tend to be a bit messy...3-4-5 driver transistors per. output transistor. Mr. 45...what do you plan on driving with this bridge?

I'll be driving a 90v DC brushed motor. I have the IR2113 drivers and some power mosfets, but have not wired them up yet. I also have the IXYS IX6R11 driver on the way. ( wanted to try both ) I guess discreets is the way to go. I'll be using 2 sided PCB to build the Hbridge, so I hope the traces will handle current draw. (50a peeks) Also, I think the IR2113's need PWM on 3 of the 4 gates/mosfets to keep the bootstrap charged. The layout in the IR appnotes is wrong. ( fig.10 ) The gnd and v+ is shorted in the layout, and the support guy at IR says it's just 'pictorial'... I was hoping to find a schematic/layout for either the IR or IXYS drivers/mosfet h-bridge to confirm things are hooked up correctly. Maybe bridge not, but definitely 4 mosfets yes. Like the N IRF530 100V/14A and perhaps the P part. Of course some basic electronic skills are required.... :) top 10 wishes, Vasile http://surducan.netfirms.com On Wed, 21 Apr 2004, Eirik Karlsen wrote: > As far as I know there are no bridge controllers that can work up to 100V. > The HIP series can do 80V. > Have a look at <www.irf.com>, they have some hi-side drivers that could > do the tricky part of the job. > It is also quite simple to do it all with discrete components but it tend to be a > bit messy...3-4-5 driver transistors per. output transistor. > > Mr. 45...what do you plan on driving with this bridge? > mr0x1001001 wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > Anyone have a reference design or pcb layout (Eagle pref.) for > > an 100vdc MOSFET H-Bridge w/drivers? The thing is I'm still confused as he later called himself Mr71. I know binary was never my strongest point but what the hell! Rv! At 22/04/2004 12:15, someone wrote: >Yeah, go figure! he-he > RobertV wrote: >> >mr0x1001001 wrote: >>>Mr. 45...what do you plan on driving with this bridge? >>45? :) |
