I have the 18F458 and I got serial to work just fine with the C6 and C7 pins. Those are RX and TX. What about the CANTX and the CANRX.... what are those? Any ideas?

CAN (Controller Area Network) is a different serial specification for inter controller communictaion up to 1 Mhz. It is addressable similar to IP.
