16F628-04 & 16F628-20 INTOSC question ? - Vincent - Sep 2 1:48:00 2004

Message
Hello,

Does anyboby know what is the Internal Clock frequency (INTOSC) of the 16F628-20 compared to 16F628-04?

In other words, does that frequency extension refers only to the external max freq grade or does that means that the internal osc is 20MHz instead of 4MHz?

Thanks for any informations,
Vince

Re: 16F628-04 & 16F628-20 INTOSC question ? - Kees Stenekes - Sep 2 3:02:00 2004

Vince,

the -20 or -04 extension refers to the maximum
EXTERNAL clock frequency. The INTOSC is the same for
both, and configurable for 4 MHz or 37 KHz.
