Has anyone used the PIC16f684. It is sure a full featured part.

It's not bad for the price. Bu the 16F684 doesn't have a UART, or I2C,
or SPI. The 16F88 has all three, plus more codespace and more RAM.

It only has 7 analog in. I need the 8 . It is only 14  pins and is only about $2.58ea from Digikey. I don't have to have the URT.
