A discussion group for the PICMicro microcontroller. Also called the Microchip PIC, this list is dedicated to the use and abuse of this fine, simple, microcontroller. Close to topic posts are welcome, ie. general electronics.

Good PIC Boards - thenaxian - Dec 6 22:14:00 2005

I recently had the opportunity to purchase two microcontroller boards,
one on the PIC16877A and one on the AVR8052. Both boards are of
excellent quality, and I thought I might pass this to the group. The
company's url is:www.wesedu.com. Their prices are also excellent. Worth
the visit.

Since most of the PIC software and hardware stuff at www.wesedu.com  is from mikroElektronik you might like to visit their site at

http://www.mikroelektronika.co.yu/english/index.htm

I have been using their Pascal compiler for PIC and am quite happy with it. They have several development boards including the EasyPIC3 and C, Basic and Pascal compilers as well. Check it out!

I'm coming into this discussion a bit late, but I have found the
Microchip PICKit boards to be very nice to use. Especially with their
new "PICtail" add-ons for USB, networking and the like. It's one of the
reasons I love Microchip, truly excellent engineering support tools and
boards.

IMO,
DLC
