Discussion Groups | Rabbit-Semi | Rabbit application: programmer wanted

This is a group for folks designing and programming embedded systems using the Rabbit Semiconductor C-programmable microcontroller. Rabbit Semi is a spin-off from Z-World who makes a variety of embedded modules and tools. This group is not affiliated with either Rabbit or Z-World, but is a user forum for sharing ideas, asking questions, flaunting knowledge, and other typical user group stuff. The Rabbit is a powerful uC, supported by a full-featured C-compiler.

*** THIS IS NOT A JOB OFFER ***
Hi,

Like a million other companies, we're "web-enabling" our products. We
are looking for a person experienced with the Rabbit product line.

For this project, the Rabbit CPU module's serial port connects to our
equipment exchanging command/control/status information. The only
user interface is via the LAN port.

The user interface is a web page. There will be dynamically updating
fields. This can not be implemented with HTML auto-refresh. Probably
there will need to be some client-side scripting to make it work
seamlessly.

We are located in Connecticut. You must be a US citizen, and located
in the USA. Local (to CT) people would be preferred. Drop me an
email: "kbdhog at yahoo dot com", if you're interested.

Thanks!

Hi All

Wondering if someone can shed some light on a Rabbit 4000.

I have a custom board with a 4000 on it. The 1/8 clock frequency is
present on pin 2. The 32 KHz clock is present on the correct pin.

S mode 0 and S mode 1 are connected correctly.

When I pull the reset line low, I would expect the status line to change
state. It is low regardless of the state of the reset line.

Can anyone help me here - or perhaps offer a few pointers?

A.
