Discussion Groups | Rabbit-Semi | Downloading a .bin file

This is a group for folks designing and programming embedded systems using the Rabbit Semiconductor C-programmable microcontroller. Rabbit Semi is a spin-off from Z-World who makes a variety of embedded modules and tools. This group is not affiliated with either Rabbit or Z-World, but is a user forum for sharing ideas, asking questions, flaunting knowledge, and other typical user group stuff. The Rabbit is a powerful uC, supported by a full-featured C-compiler.

Downloading a .bin file - Bob Hohentanner - Apr 29 9:03:14 2008

Hi,

If I want to create a .bin file as a backup for an old revision of
firmware, is there some way to download it to a device using the Rabbit
dongle and Dynamic C? I've looked through the environment and I can't
see anything that would let me do this.

Thanks,

Bob

Is that something that actually runs on the Rabbit or is it a separate
PC application? I looked at the Rabbit website and it doesn't give very
much detail.

Thanks....
