I want to find out the dynamic parameters of the ADC12 embedded in the

This is very primitive, but how do you solder wires to target boards
that have holes and not solid pads (eg. MSP430 EZ board from TI) ?

with anything other than Win2000/XP, so not much good to me. I went

Hi,
In the past I did some work with the Atmel FPSLIC. Eventually the
project was changed and the FPSLIC was dropped.
I have lots of working code still around from that project. It takes
advantage of the tight FPGA + MCU symbiosis, so it's difficult to
reuse on other platforms.

Hi has anyone tried writing to the information memory of the MSP430
with the BSL. I'm trying and failing, I have applied the patch but it
doesn't seem to work. Do I need to download the latest BSL? or can
you not write to the Info Memory with the BSL commands?

Anyone use this peripheral on a regular basis? I'm using an
MSP430F2013 and trying to work out if it's possible to reclaim the -ve

the normal UART Tx/Rx transmit/pins aren't used. Instead, other pins are

read about) will execute the opcode it returns to via its RETI
whether the interrupt mask is recoved from stack on or off?

When I toggle a GPIO on my MSP430 processor I have (or at least I
think I have :) a clean understanding of what happens. I can relate
the frequency of the toggling to the instructions used and the clock

I have this problem with my MSP430 controller. I want to use a 30
segment * 4 common LCD glass and use the rest of the pins as I/O.
The data sheet specifies 2 modes where in S0-S27 are LCD functions or
