Hello - I'm venturing into a PC104 project and have few questions to
start off. I have no experience with PC104 whatsoever.
The goal is for a PC104 module to talk to another board with an FPGA on
it. Questions are:
1. Can I use any version of Linux on the PC104 ?
2. To save time, I hope t...

Hi,
I am a PC104 newbie.
I am trying to boot a PC104 using a Compactflash flash memory card. To do
so, I first copied system files onto it (from a Windows98 machine). I then
used the flash card to boot the PC104, but encountered "Disk I/O error".
Could someone let me know what could b...

Hi all,
I use a CPLD to generate interrupt in a PC104 system. It work's fine.
The question is:
is correct connect CPLD output diretly to PC104 IRQ input (i don't need
interrupt sharing)? Or i need other hardware (pull-up resistor or other) ?
Thank's in advance

I have searched a lot for a computer or at least a box with a back
plane, where I can put in 5 or more PC104 cards.
All PC104 computers I saw, only had cages with room for 2-3 cards.
I think there must be providers offering larger cages.
Is there someone who provides large cages with a back...
I have a project that I will be doing on a PC104 system.
Before I call the dozens of vendors who don't give pricing

selected PC104 systems lately, and if so what they found.
REQUIREMENTS:
Very low performance 386 or 486. A 16Mhz ...

Hi all,
Any recommendations for a PC104 plus SBC with good processing speed
and withstand high temperature? I am worried about the PCI connectors.
In some of the boards the OCI connectors become loose and the daughter
boards come out some days.
Thanks in advance.
Krishna.

I have a PC104 from kontron (mops_lcd) that
I can't read IO ports from the ISA bus,

Looks that IO input is comming from elsewhere

using PC104 with 16bit configuration. What size is an address? IE. if
i write 0xABCD to address 0x1234, did I infact write AB to 0x1234 and
CD to 0x1235?
I think this is how ISA handles IO writes, but im not sure. So when I
write 16 bits to an odd address I actualy get 2 writes to teh bus?
