Usually debuggers like EDB from EPI are RTOS aware. What does 'RTOS
aware' mean ? Does it means they are able to use RTOS APIs or
something ? Can anybody help me out in this?
Also where to find information on the net about RTOS awareness?

It looks like you have included your RTOS header files but forgot to
link, the RTOS library.
If you do not have the source code of your RTOS, you should have a

I have a book on real time embedded systems but I would like to start
getting my hands dirty on some RTOS. Which RTOS would be the easiest to
learn from? Possibly free and that I can download from the internet.

I am developing an FPGA application which works in series with a main

I have an application that runs on a PC104 in a RTOS enviroment ( On-time
RTOS-32).
Now i need to control a dot printer (EPSON LQ300+); to make it i need to
write a low level driver to manage LPT port signals.

suppliers, but I find it hard to cut trough the marketing and sales
pitch persons. Before you can get any answers, you have to answer 50

I have one basic doubt about how context switching work in RTOS.
Where does the RTOS saves the PC (Program Counter). Is it on the stack
of the thread (Then how PC is pushed (i guess only CALL instruction has
that power), or can PC be treated as any other register especially in

Is there a contradiction between page-fault handling (a case where not
all the code is resident in RAM/ROM) and RTOS?
