The LPC2129 is very high performance for its price. There are a few Erratas for the CAN interface (which do not interfere with regular CAN operation in our case) but worth checking. On the LPC2000 discussion group mentioned by Joe, there is a "files" section which includes very good CAN examples posted by ESA, have a look there!
