Dear Comp.Arch.Embedded reader

The TestApe unit test framework is a framework for unit testing embedded
software written in plain C. It will run with GCC/Linux, GCC/CygWin or
Microsoft CL/Windows.

Latest release has just been announced - feedback is needed, so if you are
in the process of evaluating test frameworks, I would really appreciate, if
you would take a look and perhaps give it a try.

What makes you consider it spam?  I concede it may be, but it may
be public domain or open source too.

It's an unsolicited commercial advertisement. Why WOULDN'T you
consider it SPAM?

IT is a product announcement.  How would you feel If I announced a new 
Keil, IAR, cosmic, compiler in this NG?

Well, different people have different spamosity indices. I'd be okay
with any of the compiler announcements you mention if done politely; a
single posting, with a brief announcement of the release and vendor
contact info would, I think, be on topic and non-disruptive. Not like
it's the flood posting of "genuine gucci handbags!!" ...
