Dear Comp.Arch.Embedded reader The TestApe unit test framework is a framework for unit testing embedded software written in plain C. It will run with GCC/Linux, GCC/CygWin or Microsoft CL/Windows. Latest release has just been announced - feedback is needed, so if you are in the process of evaluating test frameworks, I would really appreciate, if you would take a look and perhaps give it a try. Documentation is here http://www.testape.com/releases/testape-r556.pdf Thanks in advance Martin Steen http://testape.com

I don't buy anything sold by SPAMmers. EVER!

What makes you consider it spam? I concede it may be, but it may be public domain or open source too. -- [mail]: Chuck F (cbfalconer at maineline dot net) [page]: <http://cbfalconer.home.att.net> Try the download section.

Public domain or open source does not change anything. It is still a product announcement and SPAM -- \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ \/\/\/\/\ Chris Hills Staffs England /\/\/\/\/ \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

It is still a >product announcement and SPAM Well, different people have different spamosity indices. I'd be okay with any of the compiler announcements you mention if done politely; a single posting, with a brief announcement of the release and vendor contact info would, I think, be on topic and non-disruptive. Not like it's the flood posting of "genuine gucci handbags!!" ... -- Rich Webb Norfolk, VA
