Does anyone have an AT91SAM3U-EK? A simple search for the board on this group did not yield any hits. I am trying to use Atmel's sample code along side of Jim Lynch's open source development tutorial with the SAM-ICE JTAG programmer but I am unable to properly set up the debugger. YAGARTO has a sample project for the AT91SAM3U-EK that I am able to debug but I don't understand it well enough ...

I am using an Olimex sam7s256 board. I tried to get it up and running in linux (Ubuntu). I was able to successfully install GCC and binutils. I installed SAM-BA for linux from the atmel site. I was able to get the USB port for connection as specified in the SAM-BA manual (.dev/ttyUSB0). But when I try to use the GUI and 'connect' there is no response. I though that there is a connection failure, s...

Hi Ubuntu users, In case you use Ubuntu and have upgraded to 10.04 you might have noticed - as I have - that "connect" freezes when launching (in my case SAM9260). I posted a fix on www.at91.com The fix works fine for me, proviso you're using a clean 10.04 install. I just used the 2.6.31.6 kernel driver usb-serial.c and usb_serial_generic_open and ignored the filp args in the open cal...

Hello friends, i recently get my AT91SAM7S-EK; for JTAG connection i got an ARM wiggler that goes from JTAG port to DB25. Since my lap has no DB25 port i have to connect the wiggler to a DB25 - DB9 - USB cable. (which means that i have a device that converts a DB25 to DB9 and that DB9 output is then connected to a DB9-to-USB cable) Now, i'm working with openOCD but i don't exactly now what i ha...

Good evening, everyone, I'm trying to bring up a custom board with an at91sam9g45; the stock Linux image shows me debugging output as the kernel comes up (and then a kernel panic as the hx170dec driver does something nasty). I have tried building my own linux image using the at91sam9g45ekes_defconfig. Now I've verified that CONFIG_AT91_EARLY_DBG is set to 'y' but when I flash this ke...
