Hi all I need to? boot an AT91SAM from SD Card and read , the U-Boot and the a linux image from SD Card as well As you know the At91Bootstrap has no support for booting from SD Card . usually runs from Nor Flash / DataFlash does? someone have info about? how to modify the source of the AT91bootstrap and the u-boot to do it ? So I connected the board over the RS232 and the USB_D interface to my host system (Ubuntu) powerd up the board and start SAMBA. Hi i am using AT91SAM9G20 CU-B rev MCU and SAM-BA 2.9V. I Open the SAM-BA , with SAM-ICE connected between Host PC and the board. Burn the bootstrap and the u-boot image. Now the board is up with the u-boot. If i want to reburn the images on the nand , i could not open the SAM-BA, SAM-BA gives "NO valid Processor ID found" error message. i am using SAM9263K eval board to integrate wifi card from gemtek (*GM9601* ) with marvel chip 88w8686. i compiled the linux kernel 2.6.30 with patches from AT91. kernel is booting up from data flash. I am not seeing the 'mmc' getting mounted while kernel bootup. also I don't see 'eth1' device when I run "ifconfig -a" command. I am thinking tha

I'm looking into running a minimal at91sam9 . I've been trying to figure out how much minimal resources it would need to be reliable. + 16 or 32B SDRAM for linux ? + 2 MB NOR for u-boot(?)+kernel+initrd Can I do away with NAND ? Is the sam9 capable of booting NOR directly ? Anyone did that before ? ------------------------------------

hi, i am using at91SAM 9263EK eval board (Rev B). I have compiled the linux kernel 2.6.30 with at91 patches. was able to create uImage using mkimage.bin the board has 8MB dataflash and a NAND flash. now that while doing some experiment with SAM-BA, I erased both NAND and data flash. If i restart the board, I see "ROMBoot > " on the serial debug console. any info on how to bring the board
