hi, i am using at91SAM 9263EK eval board (Rev B). I have compiled the linux kernel 2.6.30 with at91 patches. was able to create uImage using mkimage.bin the board has 8MB dataflash and a NAND flash. now that while doing some experiment with SAM-BA, I erased both NAND and data flash. If i restart the board, I see "ROMBoot > " on the serial debug console. any info on how to bring the board

Hi everyone! I would like to use a SerialFlash (AT25/AT26) for my bootsrap as well as for u-boot storage. The SAM-BA applets are able to identify, enable and erase the flash I'm using now (M25P16-VMP6G). Even sending of the bootstrap works - meaning it is executed after reset and therefore obviously transferred in some way. But while transferring any data, the SAM-BA freezes and has to be...

Does anyone know of a Borland Delphi example for writing to flash using the SAM-BA dll? I'm guessing not but figured it was worth a try to ask. Since (for some reason) Atmel decided to make AT91Boot_DLL.dll into a COM component, it's not very straightforward to port it to another environment (yes, I realize it can be done but I'm not a COM superstar - especially in Delphi). I have to u...

I've written my own USB bootloader and it is ALMOST working. I'd like to describe my approach and ask for any ideas on what is wrong. First, I'm using IAR C-compiler, my own hardware with an AT81SAM7S256 mpu with USB. All bootloader and USB stack code is located at 3B000 (top 16 k of the 256 flash), and will only allow updating of the lower 240k (more than enough for my application). M...

Hello, I am developing a project that may push the limits of SRAM in the larger AVRs family (ATmega1281). After comparing prices and a quick browse over datasheets, the AT91SAM7S128 is looking like a better option (SPI over DMA could be useful). I am very familiar in developing with the AVR using WinAVR tool chain, and flash programming with a simple printer port cable. However I have...
