Hello fellows I'm looking for a weight scale with an analog output (4-20mA or 0-5V) to connect to the BX24. The range doesn't need to be bigger than 0-1Kg and the precision doesn't need to be higher than 1g. As a second choice RS232 output is acceptable. Any ideas? Thanks in advance David M. ------------------------------------

According to schematics BX24P uses ATmega8535 chip, wich has hardware I2C support. I wonder, has anybody tried to use this interface from BasicX program? As I understand there are several questions here. First, access to TWI registers. I hope it can be done via RAMPeek/RAMPoke. Second, there is no way to use TWI interrupts for communication control. I see two possibilities here: insert TWINT...

Hello! Im wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction for my problem. I have a boe bot with the ping ultrasonic sensor and eb500. Initially i had the Basic stamp on the BOE and was able to plot on stampplot over Bluetooth using the serout command where i was plotting in XY coordinates. SEROUT 1,84,["[",DEC3 val,"],[",DEC val,"]",CR] Now, i have dropped a bx24p into the BO...

Has anyone worked with AD7490, 16-channel 12bit AtoD converter and BasicX? It's got SPI interface so it must be possible to use with BasicX, correct? The whole reason why this even came up is my need for more than 8 channel A/D that are built-in on BasicX. I need a total of 16 channels and in the previous project I ended up using 2 BasicXs and that wasn't the best solution. Ideally havin...

Hi. I am a newbie in the fascinating world of BasicX. I have a BX-24 and had started a project of using BX-24 to run an H-bridge motor controller. FYI, I am a Mechanical Engineer myself, so electronics is not my strong suit. BUT, somehow I learned a lot from the net. Anyway, when I started to build my H-bridge MOSFET Driver using Microchip's TC4469 (as what is quite low-cost and simple)...

Hello, I have a BX24p in a Board of education with a PING sensor and eb500. Currently, i have the robot roaming with the PING sensor and what i want to do is, every time the PING sensor sees an object close enough (say 5inches) i want it to plot to stampplot via the eb500 bluetooth module. Independently, i have 2 programs to (1)plot XY values to stampplot via bluetooth, and (2)roam w...

Hello, I am trying to create my own 3-phase H-bridge to commutate a brushless DC motor. I know that I need to open/close 3 MOSFETS at a time. Can anyone help me develop a code to activate my commutation patterns? I have the binary code patterns already but I am a cruddy programmer and I am new to the whole micro-controller thing. I need the patterns to be switched every 2ms (about a 60...
