I was wondering if there was a hardware expansion for the RAM on the LCDX. It does not need to be fast. I will be writing to it constantly ...

I was wondering if there was a hardware expansion for the RAM on the LCDX. It does not need to be fast. I will be writing to it constantly in my application, so I do not want to use the EEPROM to store these variables. I would like at least a few K of RAM, but anything more than 400 bytes would be welcome. Thanks, Jer

When i download my code it always attempts to halt but never seems to work correctly. It always says that the code failed etc. Failed to write eeprom. Failed to verify. That sort of thing. The thing is when i press reset or execute -the new code has downloaded and is working. Software bug?

I just moved a battery-powered project from one desktop development machine to another and started seeing Verifying external EEPROM Verify failed, retrying Verify OK reliably. If I move the DB9 back to the first machine, the first verify failure disappears. I see it with different processors, too. The only change is the serial port. Odd. Tom
