You can't run more than one com3 at a time, but you can switch between pins. I do this all the time. I have used a BX24 to display a menu on LCD. The data arrives on Com1 and goes out to Com3. But I have many other devies attached too, like an IR decoder, GPS, sensors, etc. If

I am setting up a BX-24 on a breadboard. I am powering pin 21 with the breadboard's built-in +5V supply. I have the PC Com port on pins 1-3, a Scott Edwards serial lCD as COM3 on pin 5, and an analog input from the rectified output of a mic preamp on pin 13. I worked with this debugging, etc for a couple of days and all was fine. Yesterday AM when I tu

The code to do this is trivial. 2000ppm is only 33pps, which is well within the speed capabilities of the BX24. You should use a keypad or some similar device to allow the customer to input the gallon amount, and start the pump. If you use the LCDX unit which has an LCD, and a keypad interface, you would be able to achieve this. You WILL need to read and understand the sample code given....

Hi, another newbie to BasicX and somewhat disappointed. I have used Basic Stamps previously. No issues-simple and worked every time. I can't get past the first step with this LCDX module and the annoying IDE. When I start a new project for the LCDX the system automatically loads code for LCD Driver, Relay Driver, Sound Drivers etc. All seem to do nothing. Do I need all of these files, all...

I have a need to distribute a single 3 wire RS232 to one of four seperate devices depending upon certain conditions in application processor. I may want to talk to a serial LCD, or a PC or a GPS. I would only need to talk to one at a time however. I have been looking at a 4052 Dual 4 channel multiplexer to get the job done. The RS232 RXD line would go to one input

I'm working on a project with an LCD which is connected to the normal serial pins.
