Hello, I been building small rolling robots using hacked servo motors. This has been a great expermentign base but, Now I like to make the next leap into something larger to experment with. I worked with profile framing before at my job and liked it. I think that it would be a great framing material for a 20 to 50 pound indoor/ outdoor robot that would be an expermenting platform. John I hope yu have a transistor between your motor and the BX24, else you will kill the bx24. Likewise with other motors servos etc. How can you have a 50hz signal for 1-2 ms. One cycle at 50Hz is 20ms long, unless you are talking about 1-2ms pulses every 20ms?. john_massengale wrote: > Attempting to use an RC car motor controller and not havin

I have a dilemma: I need a fast compass in a complex motorized device but the motor magnets (which move within the project as the project moves over Earth) disturb the compass in a complex manner that would, I expect, be very difficult to correct. I plan on mounting the compass on an arm that would remove it from the motors. The CMPS03 uses I2C; the V2Xe uses SPI. It appears that I2C ...

I was programming my robot, BX24 based, moving some servo motors through an atom-board mounting my BX24 chip. I never touch nor red neither green led. Just now, switching on my BX24 both red and green led bright together... and still always ON. Trying to download any program, downloader always show an error message.. How can I test my chip to check if it's damage, or how can I reset the ...

Hey Guys! I am building an autonomous rc car robot . I have a CMUCAM2 camera, A Traxxas Emax monster truck, and a BasicX-24 dev board. The BasicX is hooked up to my PC and is talking to my CMUCAM2 AND MOTORS. Can the BasicX-24 board be disconnected from the PC to stand on its own.? Can I make my robot run autonomously around the yard with only a

Hi All I just got a Basicx I also have a bipolar driver board for stepper motors. On the bipolar board their is a hookup Ena,Step,Direction,Gnd Would I be able to use Basicx to send signals to the bipolar board? If so what connections would have to be made on the breadboard? And is there code that would enable me to turn the stepper motor. This is a low amp bipolar board rated 185 to 75...
