Hello, I need to be able to receive sensor readings such as temp, wirelessly over a distance of about 100 feet. I have to monitor 5 sensors. What is a good wireless link that can do this? Matched transmitters/recievers? Is there a receiver that can read from multiple transmitters? Thank you for your input. A

I'm looking for the smallest embedded device I can find that can do: 1. Infrared sensor 2. Wireless connection (can connect to an G router, for example, I'll have to check the distance that might cover, otherwise maybe N will have to be used) 3. DHCP 4. Low power consumption 5. User solar power to save battery life? At least have a couple out of 5, and I can try to work on the others. ...

Hi I am hoping someone might be able to help point me in the right direction. I have an embeeded application running in a PIC in which is sending sensor data over a wireless network. We want to keep the number of bytes in each packet sent to an absolute minimum. Some of the values we want to send back and forth are Floats which takes 4 bytes. We'd like represent some of the values ...

My application is a temperature controller that uses a surface temperature sensor and Triac to adjust a heating element using a uC using PID control. Although I only need about a +/- .5 degree accuracy, I'm aiming for a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees C which seems to be comfortably out of the range of most thermistor solutions but seems to be within the capabilities of a standard RTD. I...

Hi, I need an opinion: a customer wish to comunicate with our board (that uses a Freescale MC56F8037 to control a BLDC motor with hall sensor for commutations and an encoder for position sensing) via a RS485 bus with a baudrate of 230400 bps. the frames are 16byte in length and a reply is expected within 3 msec (communication should be every 80 msec). I'm not sure that the 8037 can hand...
